Join us for "Crazy, Stupid, Love: All necessary qualities for employing 170 rockstars before you turn 30"
How does someone who has "never really had a proper recruitment gig before" end up Head of Talent for Vend, an award-winning software business that employs over 100 people across six different countries? By living and breathing the company's values and never once compromising on culture while hiring on average eight new people a month.
20-something Kirsti Grant is the host of the next Wise Women event where she promises to over-share about why crazy is cool, the pros and cons of stubborn independence and why everyone should love what they do.
"At Vend we are always looking for some awesome new talent to come join us. If you're interested you'll be working in an awesome team doing awesome things, and generally being awesome."
Despite (or maybe that should be: Because of) the fact that she loves being in control of everything, Kirsti Grant's story so far has been quite the roller coaster ride. Settling in a place now where "everything is awesome” Kirsti remains a stubborn believer that everyone should love what they do. So, of course, she lives to work, has absolutely no concept of work/life balance and thinks everyone is entitled to everyone else's opinion.
You’ll find her, with 5,000 close friends, on Twitter and most other social networking platforms but you’ll also see her in real life - speaking at HR & Recruitment conferences, eating at BurgerBurger or indulging in a damn fine IPA at one of the many excellent craft beer establishments in Auckland.
Come and enjoy the awesome on Tuesday 4 November with a woman who's been variously described as a very impressive operator, an influencer, a social media junkie, a dynamo and an energizer bunny!
