ON-Brand Partners (OBP) is delighted to announce the appointment of Steve Brebner as sales and channels manager for TakeON!
After a successful capital raising earlier this year, OBP has secured TakeON! business partners in the US and the UK to supplement the existing Australasian network. Steve’s role is to build the sales channel for all partners and to grow global membership of the ON2net.
“Steve comes to TakeON! at just the right time,” says OBP CEO Paul Stewart. “Our partners all believe that there’s a tremendous need for a configurable product like TakeON! across the world, the pilots have all been hugely successful, and we just need to get the word out there. Steve’s the perfect person to build and implement our ambitious sales strategy.”
For the last four years Steve has been general manager and director at the online video and content company, e-cast. Before that he worked at the likes of PMP Micromarketing, TVNZ and IMG, specialising in sponsorship and business development. Highlights have included securing a commercial partner for and project managing the Test The Nation live TV event, directing the V8 Supercars event, and setting up and running the sales team for the Empower electricity retailer from start-up until it was sold to Contact.
“I haven’t been this excited since the Empower experience,” says Steve. “It’s not every day that you get to join a company that’s just about to go global. As far as I am concerned there’s only two types of people. People who love TakeON! and people who haven’t heard of it yet.”
